Girl at desk writing

I’m an HCI grad and current UX researcher with an interest in data-informed decision-making, user-centered design, accessibility, and product development. My master’s thesis research focused on how people react to and interact with creative deepfakes on social media.

I have experience providing research and operations support for teams that build products for government and industry clients (specifically: software and digital companies). I thrive in spaces that promote cross-functional collaboration, and enjoy using my software development skills to build apps that automate and improve research operations processes.

Before my work in UXR, I was a back-end software engineer (ask me anything about databases!) I also have a strong background (and love of) non-profit work. I did some of my best work as an AmeriCorps after-school and curriculum specialist at the YWCA Family Center for women and children experiencing homelessness and as a K-8 academic coordinator.

In my free time, I enjoy tinkering with various games and projects in Unity 3d. I also enjoy surfing the web for tech tips and memes.
